Am Anfang meiner Karriere stand der klassische SW-Fotolaborkurs mit Barytpapier. Erste berufliche Erfahrungen sammelte ich mit meiner Arbeit für Zeitschriften und Zeitung nach einem Praktikum im Werbefotostudio Ulrich, Riedlingen. Bereits 1988 wurde ich zum "BESTER NACHWUCHSFOTOGRAF" in einem Wettbewerb der Firma AGFA gewählt.  Durch eine freie Fotoarbeit zum Thema "AUSSTERBENDE HANDWERKSBERUFE" wurde meine Arbeit durch viele Ausstellungen und Artikeln einer breiten Öffentlichkeit bekannt. Es folgten zahlreiche Auftragsarbeiten - vor allem für Künstler und Galerien. So zum Beispiel ein Auftrag über die Kunstgalerie Kleiss für einen PORSCHEKALENDER, dem ein großes Presseecho folgte, oder der Fotoauftrag über mehere Kunstbücher für PROFESSOR MARTIN DOMKE (BAUHAUS). Ab 1990 arbeitete ich als Fotograf (Zeitsoldat) für die DEUTSCHE BUNDESWEHR. Im Anschluss besuchte ich die JOHANNES GUTENBERGSCHULE für ein Jahr in Bad Cannstatt und beendete meine Gesellenausbildung bei WERBEATELIER BUSCHE/BENZ in Waiblingen bei dem berühmten Fotografen E. Kärcher. 1995 stieg ich als einer der ersten Fotografen erfolgreich in die werbliche DIGITALE FOTOGRAFIE ein. Zahlreiche FACHZEITSCHRIFTEN berichteten über meine Arbeit für namhafte Unternehmen aus ganz Deutschland. Einer der ersten grossformatig digital fotografierten Jahreskalender erregte Aufsehen in der Branche und machte etliche Agenturen auf meine Arbeit aufmerksam. So wechselte ich 1996 als STUDIOLEITER zur Werbeagentur I.D. Team. In den nächsten Jahren produzierte ich parallel digital und analog Werbe- und Produktfotografie für bekannte Katalogversender. 1998 wechselte ich nach Bielefeld - ebenfalls als Studioleiter - um dort vorwiegend digital und analog große Aufträge im Bereich Möbelfotografie zu realisieren. Ein Jahr später wandte ich mich wieder mehr dem künstlerischen Aspekt meiner Arbeit zu und wechselte als Fotograf an die UNIVERSITÄT des Saarlandes, parallel widmete ich mich dem STUDIUM DER KUNSTGESCHICHTE. In dieser Zeit entstand eine große Anzahl an Kunstbüchern, Werksverzeichnissen, Ausstellungskatalogen namhafter Künstler sowie etliche Plakate mit meinen Arbeiten. 2004 erhielt ich den MEISTERPREIS DER BAYRISCHEN STAATSREGIERUNG für meine Abschlussarbeit.
Seit 2010 arbeite ich selbständig in Stuttgart als Werbefotograf und Videoproduzent für zahlreiche Unternehmen.

Werde ich gefragt, was mich von anderen in der Branche unterscheidet, ist es sicherlich die besondere Leidenschaft stets mehr Erfolg für ein Unternehmen einzubringen als Kosten. Es ist die Fähigkeit jede Foto-/Filmproduktion im Ganzen zu verstehen. Denn bereits bei der Planung eines Projektes lasse ich ausreichend Platz für Titel und Texte, denke darüber nach welche Key Words für Google sinnvoll sind, oder welches Druckverfahren sich besonders eignet.

My career started with the classical black and white photo lab course. I collected my first professional experiences with my work for magazines and newspaper after a training period in the advertising photo studio Ulrich, Riedlingen. Already in 1988 I was chosen the "BESTER NACHWUCHSFOTOGRA" in a competition of the company AGFA. By a free photo work on the subject "BESTER NACHWUCHSFOTOGRA" my work became known of a wide public by many exhibitions and articles . Numerous commissioned works followed - above all for artists and galleries. So, for example, an order about the art gallery Kleiss for a PORSCHEKALENDER which a big press echo followed, or the photo order about some art books for PROFESSOR MARTIN DOMKE (BAUHAUS). From 1990 I worked as photographer (time soldier) for the GERMAN ARMED FORCES. Later I visited the JOHANNES GUTENBERG SCHOOL for a year in Bad Cannstatt and finished my education at AWERBEATELIER BUSCHE/BENZ in Waiblingen with the famous photographer E. Kärcher. In 1995 I work as one of the first photographers successfully with DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY. Numerous magazines reported about my work for famous enterprises from the whole of Germany. One of the first large-size digitally photographed annual calendars caused sensation in the branch and drew the attention of several agencies to my work. Thus I changed in 1996 as a STUDIO LEADER to the advertising agency I.D. Team. During the next years I produced in parallel digitally and analogously advertising and product photography for known catalogue senders. In 1998 I changed to Bielefeld - also as a studio leader - to realise big orders in the area of furniture photography there mainly digitally and analogously. A year later I turned again more to the artistic aspect of my work and changed as a photographer to the UNIVERSITY of Saarland, I devoted myself in parallel to the STUDY OF THE ART HISTORY. In this time a big number of art books, work lists, exhibition catalogues of famous artists as well as several posters were produced with my works. In 2004 I received the MASTER PRICE OF THE BAVARIAN STATE GOVERNMENT of my final work.
Since 2010 I work independently in Stuttgart as a commercial photographer and videoproducer for numerous enterprises.

If I am asked what distinguishes me from others in the branch, it is to be introduced absolutely the special passion always more success for an enterprise than costs. The ability every photo  and film production is to be understood on the whole. Since already by the planning of a project I leave enough place for title and texts, think about which key words for Google make sense, or which printing method particularly is suited.
